Our meeting proved intense and exciting and delicious. A few of the items Judy and Dorothy covered: The author, Daniel Pinchbeck wrote "2012 (etc.)" partly as a result of his exploration with 8 or 9 kinds of psychedelic drugs. This, coupled with his travels to tribal societies, led him to comment on gender issues, sexuality, spiritual traditions and intriguing ceremonies. All of which became fodder for his book.
Judy provided a handout on "The 3-2-1 process of shadow work" which we wanted to pursue at another meeting. The book (and presentation) ended with the author's visit to the Hopis, who are more our teachers than we may have known. Their wisdom tenets, "If you have the right intentions, anything is possible." and "The person who has the greatest power is the one who has a perfect heart."
We left wanting more, but with a promise to come back to learn more.
