Integration & Intention
At this meeting we had an open forum that mostly focused on setting intentions. (Read "The Intention Experiment" by Lynne McTaggart.) Then members present wondered why we here in Portland couldn't have our own intention experiment.
The following were some ideas set forth:
- Increasing capacity to live in loving kindness
- Help develop sustainable, caring economics
- That Obama be selected the Democratic candidate.
- That we bring more compassion into the world
- Increase the number of volunteers who help the homeless
- Choose three people and focus on lowering their blood pressure
- Cleaning our water, clearing out the toxins 8
- Healing. Our group?, A friend?, or ---?
We were enthused about the possibilities. Now we need to narrow down our options, or prioritize them and spend the next year doing them all!
